Carving of "Amphitrite" nearly complete!

The carving of Amphitrite is nearly complete! She is a bit over seven feet tall and will be cast in bronze. She will be placed in a fountain at the Tanglewood Legacy Estate Garden, home of Mr. Fred Levin. The gardens will be beautiful and extensive, designed by Mr. James Martin of Gulfside Landscaping.

The "Sentries" in Progress

These are my Sentries, Laars and Rugga. (Laars is the left-handed one!)
They are currently at Fairhope Foundry where they will be cast in bronze.

Each Sentry has been cut into about 15 pieces and molds made of each piece.
This photograph shows ceramic shell encasing the wax segments which will be
melted out prior to the casting. Then the welding fun begins!

Signing one of the Sentry bases in the wax. Casting begins soon!
